"Firehorse is a new UK-based luxury accessories brand. We work with talented designers who bring originality and energy to the design process. We then celebrate the very finest of British craftsmanship - creating hand-finished 'investment pieces' which will be treasured for years."
I’m so pleased to have designed three scarves for the debut collection which launched Summer 2018. The superb product quality and powerful ethos behind the brand make Firehorse a joy to work with.

Mirror is a jewel-like geometric design inspired by hand-drawn grids and layered shapes.
It was created by scanning in textures and piecing together shapes digitally, creating a contemporary pattern with a painterly, artisan energy. The sliced triangles that run through the print create a sense of movement and vitality, enhanced by the energetic colourway. Warm pink and purple tones are offset by blues, zesty oranges and teals to create a scarf that is intriguing and romantic.
Flame was created by scanning in textures and digitally painting over a handmade grid, layering shapes within shapes.
The idea was to create a pattern that doesn’t conform to the normal geometric rules but seems to flow across the fabric and retains that artistic, hand-printed quality. Finished in beautiful fire-like crimson tones, this design is warm and inviting.
Origami is a cheerful three-dimensional print inspired by folded paper and colour blocking.
The striking colourway of yellow, mints, peaches and brown tones is a nod to retro design influences, with unexpected pops of pink and purple to lift the palette. The layered nature of the design and the playful scale add an unusual twist to a geometric classic.
